A special model of DB's class BR 102-2 with markings designed in the "Azubis gegen Hass und Gewalt" (apprentices against hate and violence) project. In this project, run annually since 2000, apprentices from all DB corporation sectors have been taking action against right-wing extremism, xenophobia and violence and in support of moral courage and team spirit. The "apprentices' locomotive" of 2007 which bears the slogan "Wir menschen sind alle gleich" (All humans are equal) is based on the design by the Offenburg group of apprentices and has been in service on the DB railway network since September 2007.
